The challenge

Haven places a strong emphasis on long term relationships and member loyalty. They wanted a way to recognize meaningful membership anniversaries at one year, five years, and ten years in a way that felt personal and elevated, without creating operational burden for their internal team.

While full data integrations were an option, Haven preferred a simpler approach that allowed them to stay flexible and move quickly. The goal was to deliver a high quality gifting experience for members while keeping the process easy to manage behind the scenes.

The solution

Avail worked with Haven to design a tiered anniversary gifting program tailored to each milestone. Rather than automating data flows through integrations, Haven provides a monthly spreadsheet that lists eligible members by anniversary tier.

The Avail team bulk imports this data directly into the gifting platform and assigns each member to the appropriate anniversary campaign. Each campaign is customized with its own imagery and messaging to reflect the significance of the milestone and reinforce Haven’s brand voice.

Members receive a gifting email that allows them to choose one of three curated gift options. Once a selection is made, the order is picked, packed, and shipped the same day to ensure a fast and seamless experience.

While most gifts are unbranded to prioritize usefulness and appeal, select tiers also include a branded 20oz tumbler. This adds a tangible brand touchpoint and reinforces long term loyalty for Haven’s most tenured members.

The results

The program gave Haven a scalable and repeatable way to recognize member loyalty without adding complexity to their internal workflows. By using a simple monthly data handoff, the credit union was able to launch quickly and maintain full control over the program.

Members experienced a personalized gifting moment tied to a meaningful milestone, with choice driven gifting and rapid fulfillment creating a premium experience. The inclusion of branded items at higher tiers helped deepen brand connection while still keeping the overall gift assortment broadly appealing.
